ShipOpsHow to connect ShipKartex to your store
You need one thing: your ShipKartex auth key, the API code that lets an app like ShipOps read your ShipKartex account. It is printed on your profile in the ShipKartex portal at portal.shipkartex.com. It is not your portal password. Copy it, paste it into ShipOps, and pick your shipper profile.

Where to find it in ShipKartex's portal
- Sign in to the ShipKartex portal at portal.shipkartex.com with your usual portal login.
- Open your profile.
- Find API auth key and copy the full code. If you can't find it, see the next section.
Don't have it yet?
If your profile shows no auth key, or you have no portal login at all, ask your ShipKartex account manager. API access is something ShipKartex switches on for your account.
You can send this as it is: "Please enable API access on my ShipKartex account and share my API auth key. I am connecting my store to ShipOps."
If you do not have a shipper profile yet, ask for one in the same message. Tracking works without it, but ShipOps books under a shipper profile.
Connecting it in ShipOps
- Install ShipOps from the Shopify App Store, or open it if you already have it. On your first visit ShipOps asks you to connect a courier; later, it lives under Settings → Couriers & store.
- Choose ShipKartex and fill in Auth key.
- Press Connect ShipKartex. ShipOps checks the details with ShipKartex before it saves them, so a typo shows up straight away, not a day later. When it works you see Saved — credentials confirmed.
- Under Shipper profile, press Choose…, pick the one your parcels ship from, and press Save. ShipOps loads the list from your ShipKartex account. This is what bookings and labels are made under; you can skip it if you only want tracking.
- That's it. Your ShipKartex parcels load in the background, so there is nothing to wait for. They appear in your inbox as they arrive.
ShipOps stores your ShipKartex details encrypted and uses them only to read your own account and to do what you ask from the app: a booking, a label, a retry or return. Your rates and your contract with ShipKartex stay exactly as they are, and the COD cash still goes from ShipKartex straight to your bank.
Your shipper profile is the sender name, phone and pickup address on your bookings. If your account has more than one, pick the one your parcels actually leave from. Parcels already on your ShipKartex account load either way, including ones booked straight in the portal.
If ShipKartex won't connect
ShipOps says ShipKartex rejected my auth key
Copy it again from your profile in portal.shipkartex.com and paste it with nothing before or after it. Check you copied the auth key and not your portal password: the key is the long code with dashes. If it still fails, ask ShipKartex whether the key was changed.
It connected, but says API access looks switched off
ShipKartex accepted the key, but the API is turned off on your account. Ask ShipKartex to enable API access before you book from ShipOps.
It says my account has no shipper profile of its own
Add a shipper profile in the ShipKartex portal, or ask your account manager to add one, then reconnect ShipKartex in ShipOps so the new profile shows under Shipper profile.
Some orders say ShipKartex in my store but ShipOps can't find them
Look at the tracking number on those orders. If another courier issued it, for example a Daraz Express number starting PK-DEX, ShipKartex has no record of it, so there is nothing to follow there. Connect the courier that issued the number.
I connected but no parcels showed up yet
Parcels load in the background after you connect, so give it a few minutes. ShipOps reads every parcel on the ShipKartex account the key belongs to. If you expected parcels from a different ShipKartex account, that account has its own key.
