Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) “ASSIGNED_FOR_DELIVERY”: what it means
In transit
Deshi Express ASSIGNED_FOR_DELIVERY means the parcel is in the customer's city and has been given to a rider for delivery. It usually appears together with Out For Delivery.
This is the best moment to remind the customer: the rider will call, and the cash should be ready.
What to do now
| Your move | A rider has the parcel for today's run. Make sure the customer can be reached. |
|---|---|
| The customer | The customer may get a call from an unknown number today. If they miss it, the visit can fail. |
| How long it usually lasts | The same day. A failed run shows HALT_DELIVERY that evening. |
How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) statuses →
