Shipnoc “Received At Office”: what it means

In transit

Shipnoc Received At Office means Shipnoc has taken the parcel in from you at its office. From here the courier is responsible for it. ShipOps shows it as in transit.

It is a real scan with its real time, often in the evening, on the day of booking or a few days later. Shipnoc's other statuses are mostly written once a day around noon, so the times on a Shipnoc parcel can look uneven.

Next comes INTRANSIT.

How ShipOps reads it

In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
