Shipnoc “AC BOOK PARCEL”: what it means

Booked

Shipnoc AC BOOK PARCEL is a note Shipnoc adds by itself to a parcel it has not received yet, about a week after Parcel Booked. It ends nothing and moves nothing. The parcel is still booked and still not with Shipnoc.

It is not a cancellation and not a new booking. Some of these parcels are received the next day and delivered; some never leave.

ShipOps keeps showing the parcel as booked until a real scan arrives. Treat it as a reminder: a parcel a week past booking with no Received At Office was probably never handed over.

How ShipOps reads it

Booked Booked, not yet collected. A booking that has not been scanned by the courier 48 hours later goes on ShipOps' awaiting-pickup list. It is not a delivery problem yet; it is usually a pickup that was missed or a parcel that never left the store, and the fix is a call to the courier, not the customer.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
