DigiDokaan “Delivery In Transit”: what it means
In transit
DigiDokaan Delivery In Transit means the parcel is on the last part of its trip, heading for the customer. It is DigiDokaan's top-line status, and it can lag behind the scans the courier has already sent.
That lag is the thing to know. A parcel can still say Delivery In Transit at the top while its newest scan reads Ready for Return - REFUSED WITH NO REASON: the customer has already refused and the courier is waiting for your answer. Going by the top line alone, you would wait too.
ShipOps goes by whichever is further along, so a parcel shows as in transit only when nothing newer sits under it. Next is usually a rider (Assigned to courier in {city} on Leopard), then a delivery or a failed visit.
What to do now
| Your move | On the delivery side. Check the newest scan: it can already say more than this status. |

How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All DigiDokaan statuses →
