Next Step “LEFT_FOR_DESTINATION”: what it means
In transit Also printed as ASSIGNED_FOR_TRANSIT · PRE_ASSIGNED_FOR_TRANSIT
Next Step LEFT_FOR_DESTINATION means the parcel has left the hub in your city and is travelling to the customer's city. Nobody has tried to deliver it yet.
It is often preceded by ASSIGNED_FOR_TRANSIT, and sometimes by PRE_ASSIGNED_FOR_TRANSIT: the parcel being put on a truck or a run. For you all three mean the same thing: the parcel is between cities.
Next comes ARRIVED_AT_DESTINATION. There is nothing for you to do yet.

How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Next Step statuses →
