Shipnoc “Parcel Booked”: what it means

Booked

Shipnoc Parcel Booked means the parcel is on your Shipnoc account and has a tracking number, but Shipnoc has not received it yet. It is the first status on every Shipnoc parcel. The parcel is still with you or waiting for pickup.

Next is normally Received At Office, when Shipnoc takes the parcel in. A parcel not received within about a week may also show AC BOOK PARCEL, which changes nothing.

Because Shipnoc's tracking is closed for most of the day, a fresh booking may show nothing new in ShipOps until tracking opens again.

What to do now

Your move The first status on every parcel. Booked, waiting for pickup.

How ShipOps reads it

Booked Booked, not yet collected. A booking that has not been scanned by the courier 48 hours later goes on ShipOps' awaiting-pickup list. It is not a delivery problem yet; it is usually a pickup that was missed or a parcel that never left the store, and the fix is a call to the courier, not the customer.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
