Shipnoc status

Shipnoc “INTRANSIT”: what it means

In transit

Shipnoc INTRANSIT means the parcel is moving inside Shipnoc's network, between your city and the customer's. It is the most common status on a Shipnoc parcel.

It repeats. Shipnoc writes a status for each parcel once a day, sometimes twice, so a parcel can show INTRANSIT several times across a couple of days. That does not mean it moved several times or that it is stuck; Shipnoc is restating where it is.

Next comes REACHED AT DESTINATION or straight Out For Delivery. The note beside INTRANSIT says nothing useful; ignore it.

How ShipOps reads it

In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
