DigiDokaan “Return to Origin”: what it means

Coming back

Return to Origin is Leopard's scan for a parcel that has started back toward your city. The return is travelling. It has not reached you yet; that is Return To Sender.

The trap is what comes after it. Leopard uses its delivery words for the trip back too: Arrived at Station, Assigned to courier. Read on their own, they make a returning parcel look like it is out for delivery again.

ShipOps does not fall for it: once a parcel shows Return to Origin, it stays returning until it is handed back to you. It usually follows a Ready for Return.

What to do now

Your move Travelling back, not back yet. The scans after it are the return trip, even when they sound like a delivery.

How ShipOps reads it

Coming back On its way back to you. The return is committed, so ShipOps stops suggesting retries and moves the parcel to the returns list. When it lands, checking it in records that you have the goods back, and the return charge is counted against the order.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All DigiDokaan statuses →
