DigiDokaan “Second Attempt”: what it means

Attempt failed

DigiDokaan Second Attempt means the first delivery visit failed and the parcel is going out to the customer again. The failed visit, with its reason, is in the scans below it, usually as a Pending.

It does not mean the second visit has happened yet. On a Leopard parcel the scans typically read Assigned to courier, Pending — CONSIGNEE NOT AVAILABLE, Assigned to courier: one failed run, and a second rider on the way.

This is the cheapest point to save the order. If this visit fails too, the parcel can stop at Ready for Return, one step from coming back. ShipOps puts the parcel in your Action Inbox with the reason while there is still a visit left.

What to do now

Your move The first visit failed and the parcel is going out again. Get the customer ready for this one.
The customer A customer who missed the first rider often asks for a specific time. Pass it on now; after the second miss it is a return conversation.
Retry or return DigiDokaan takes a retry or return instruction only on a parcel it has opened a ticket for. ShipOps keeps an eye on those tickets and puts the buttons on exactly those parcels.

How ShipOps reads it

Attempt failed A delivery failed, the courier still has it. The parcel goes into the Action Inbox with the courier's reason in plain words. The useful move is to reach the customer before the next attempt; ShipOps puts the call and WhatsApp buttons on the row and counts the attempts made so far.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All DigiDokaan statuses →
