InstaWorld “HandOver to Courier”: what it means
In transit
InstaWorld "HandOver to Courier" means InstaWorld has handed your parcel to the courier that will carry it to your customer. InstaWorld works with other networks, such as TCS, Leopards, M&P or Trax, and this status is that hand-off.
After it, the statuses you see are often that courier's own scans, passed on by InstaWorld. That is why the wording can change partway through, and why the same scan sometimes shows twice at the same minute.
Your contract, your COD and your statement all stay with InstaWorld. Any question about the parcel still goes to your InstaWorld account manager. ShipOps shows it as in transit.

How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All InstaWorld statuses →
