InstaWorld “uncollected”: what it means

Booked

InstaWorld uncollected means the parcel is booked but no InstaWorld rider has picked it up from you yet. It is the first status on almost every InstaWorld parcel. The parcel is still on your shelf and nothing has moved.

InstaWorld writes it in lower case. Next you should see Pickup Done or In Transit. This is the only stage where InstaWorld lets you cancel the booking. Once the parcel has been picked up, a change of mind becomes a return.

It does not mean the parcel is lost or was refused. The pickup simply has not happened. ShipOps shows the parcel as booked and keeps it out of your attempts and returns.

What to do now

Your move Booked, waiting for pickup. If it stays here past your usual pickup day, chase the pickup, not the customer.
The customer Usually nothing yet. If the customer asks, the honest answer is that the order is packed and waiting for the courier.

How ShipOps reads it

Booked Booked, not yet collected. A booking that has not been scanned by the courier 48 hours later goes on ShipOps' awaiting-pickup list. It is not a delivery problem yet; it is usually a pickup that was missed or a parcel that never left the store, and the fix is a call to the courier, not the customer.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All InstaWorld statuses →
