Leopards “Delivered to Warehouse”: what it means

Returned to you Also printed as Delivered to Vendor

On Leopards, Delivered to Warehouse means a returned parcel was delivered back to the shipper's warehouse. It is a return, not a delivery to your customer, and no COD comes with it. Its sibling, Delivered to Vendor, means the same for you: the parcel came back.

Both are among Leopards' return statuses, next to Returned to Warehouse and Returned to Shipper. They come at the end of a return, after Return to Origin, not after a rider run to the customer.

This is the phrase that costs merchants money. A tool that looks only for the word delivered marks the order delivered and paid in your store, and the parcel then looks like unpaid COD on Leopards' side. ShipOps reads the whole phrase: Delivered to Warehouse and Delivered to Vendor are returns, and only the bare Delivered is a delivery.

What to do now

Your move A return, not a delivery. The parcel came back to you or your warehouse. Never mark the order paid on this phrase.

How ShipOps reads it

Returned to you Back with you. The parcel is closed as returned. ShipOps checks the courier's payouts for the return charge, so a return billed twice or a return marked delivered on a receipt is caught.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Leopards statuses →
