InstaWorld “Returned to Shipper”: what it means

Returned to you

InstaWorld "Returned to Shipper" means the parcel has been handed back to you. The return is complete.

It comes at the end of the return, after Return - Out for delivery. Watch the tense: Return to Origin is the return starting, Returned to Shipper is the return finished.

ShipOps shows it as returned, stops tracking it, and keeps the reason the delivery failed. The return charge appears on your InstaWorld statement; upload the statement to ShipOps to see what this return cost you.

How ShipOps reads it

Returned to you Back with you. The parcel is closed as returned. ShipOps checks the courier's payouts for the return charge, so a return billed twice or a return marked delivered on a receipt is caught.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All InstaWorld statuses →
