M&P “Delivered”: what it means

10 Delivered Also printed as D-DELIVERED

On M&P, 10 Delivered means the rider handed the parcel to the customer and collected the COD. The note names who received it. On M&P's monthly report the same parcel reads D-DELIVERED. M&P now owes you the COD, less its charges.

The money comes later, in a batch on M&P's Payment Report. When M&P pays it, the parcel's row on the monthly report gets a cheque number, and that number is the batch's payment number. A delivered parcel with no cheque number has not been paid yet. More on the M&P COD payments page.

Two things to watch. A Re-Attempt Advice line can appear after Delivered; the parcel is still delivered. And M&P's monthly report puts a date on returned parcels too, so a date alone does not prove a delivery. ShipOps marks a parcel delivered, and tells your store, only when M&P says Delivered.

What to do now

Your move Done. The COD comes in a later M&P payment, and ShipOps shows it as owed until then.

How ShipOps reads it

Delivered Handed to the customer. Delivered is where the money question starts. ShipOps writes the delivery back to your store, then watches the courier's payouts for this parcel's COD and raises it if it is not paid within the courier's usual cycle.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All M&P statuses →
