ShipOps M&P statuses
Every M&P tracking status, explained
M&P prints 15 statuses a merchant actually sees on a parcel. Each one below has its own page: what is physically happening, what to do now, and where it usually goes next. They are grouped by what the parcel needs from you, which is not always what the words suggest.
Booked, not yet collected
Booked| Booked 1 | Booked, not collected yet. It appears on M&P's reports only after M&P scans it at its hub. |

Moving inside the courier's network
In transit| Arrived at OPS Facility 3 | M&P has the parcel and has scanned it at its hub. Nothing to do. |

| In-transit 4 | Moving between M&P cities. Nothing to do. |
| Reached at Destination 5 | In the customer's city. Out-for-Delivery usually comes next. |
| Out-for-Delivery 6 | With the rider today. A message to the customer helps the visit succeed. |
| Re-Attempt Advice 9 | M&P has accepted your retry and will send the parcel out again. Nothing more to do. |
A delivery failed, the courier still has it
Attempt failed| Unsuccessful Delivery Attempt 7 | A failed visit, with the reason under it. M&P tries again on its own. Reach the customer before the next visit. |

The courier is waiting for your decision
Needs your decision| Hold for Advice 8 | M&P is holding the parcel until you say retry or return. Answer from the order in ShipOps. |

Handed to the customer
Delivered| Delivered 10 | Done. The COD comes in a later M&P payment, and ShipOps shows it as owed until then. |

On its way back to you
Coming back| Failed Delivered 16 | M&P has given up on the delivery and started the return. |

| Return – In Transit 11 | On its way back between cities. Nothing to do yet. |
| Return – Out For Delivery 13 | Being brought back to your address. Make sure someone is at the pickup location. |
| Return – Reached at Origin 12 | Back in your city at M&P's office. The hand-back is next. |
| Unsuccessful Return Attempt 14 | The rider could not hand the return back to you. Make sure the pickup location is staffed. |
Back with you
Returned to you| Return to Vendor/Return to Shipper 15 | Back with you. Check it in so the order can be cancelled and restocked if that switch is on. |
