M&P “Return – Reached at Origin”: what it means
12 Coming back
On M&P, 12 Return – Reached at Origin means the returned parcel is back at M&P's office in your city, the one that first scanned it. The note reads "Arrived at origin city for return."
The next status is normally 15 Return to Vendor/Return to Shipper, when the parcel is handed back to you. If the rider cannot hand it over, you see 14 Unsuccessful Return Attempt instead.
If a parcel sits here for days, it is with M&P in your own city. Ask for it: an unfinished return is stock you cannot sell and a charge you are already paying.
