Shipnoc “INCOMPLETE ADDRESS”: what it means

Attempt failed

Shipnoc INCOMPLETE ADDRESS means the rider could not deliver because the address was not enough to find the customer. It is a failed visit with its reason shown as the status, and Shipnoc repeats it each day it stays unsolved.

It can be fixed while it lasts, but left alone, more of these come back than get delivered.

Shipnoc has no way to take a corrected address from ShipOps, so it goes from you to your Shipnoc contact, and to the customer conversation. ShipOps keeps the parcel in your Action Inbox with an address reason.

What to do now

Your move The rider could not find the address. Get a landmark and a working phone from the customer and pass it on.
The customer The customer usually knows exactly where they live and is surprised. Ask for a nearby landmark, not the full address again.
Retry or return Shipnoc does not take a retry or return instruction from outside its own portal, so the answer goes in by hand; ShipOps still shows the parcel with its reason and links you there.

How ShipOps reads it

Attempt failed A delivery failed, the courier still has it. The parcel goes into the Action Inbox with the courier's reason in plain words. The useful move is to reach the customer before the next attempt; ShipOps puts the call and WhatsApp buttons on the row and counts the attempts made so far.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
