Shipnoc “non service area”: what it means

Needs your decision

Shipnoc non service area means the courier cannot deliver to the customer's address because it is outside the area Shipnoc serves. Retrying the same address will not change that.

It often appears between days of ON HOLD, and then the parcel goes to READY FOR RTN. Waiting does not make the address serviceable.

Decide with the customer and tell your Shipnoc contact. For the next order to that area, book a courier that delivers there.

What to do now

Your move Shipnoc cannot deliver to this address. Decide with the customer: a different address, or a return.
The customer The customer may be able to give an address in a nearby town, or collect from an office.
Retry or return Shipnoc does not take a retry or return instruction from outside its own portal, so the answer goes in by hand; ShipOps still shows the parcel with its reason and links you there.

How ShipOps reads it

Needs your decision The courier is waiting for your decision. This is the window where an instruction still changes the outcome. ShipOps raises the parcel to the top of the Action Inbox, and where the courier lets ShipOps send a retry or return, the buttons on the row file it with the courier directly.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
