Shipnoc “SHIFTED”: what it means
Attempt failed
Shipnoc SHIFTED means the rider went to the address and found the customer had moved. The address on the order is no longer where the customer lives. It is a failed visit with the reason shown as the status.
It is rare, and when it appears, retrying the same address will not work.
Shipnoc cannot take a new address from ShipOps, so the new address goes from you to your Shipnoc contact, or the parcel comes back and you book it again.
What to do now
| Your move | The customer has moved. Get the new address from them before anything else. |
|---|---|
| The customer | The customer may have ordered before a move and forgotten. They will usually give the new address on the first call. |
| Retry or return | Shipnoc does not take a retry or return instruction from outside its own portal, so the answer goes in by hand; ShipOps still shows the parcel with its reason and links you there. |

How ShipOps reads it
Attempt failed A delivery failed, the courier still has it. The parcel goes into the Action Inbox with the courier's reason in plain words. The useful move is to reach the customer before the next attempt; ShipOps puts the call and WhatsApp buttons on the row and counts the attempts made so far.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Shipnoc statuses →
The same state on other couriers
