TCS “No Telephone Number”: what it means
NT Needs your decision
TCS NT No Telephone Number means the parcel reached the rider with no phone number on it. The rider could not arrange the delivery, and TCS is waiting for your instruction.
This is a booking problem, not a customer problem. The customer almost certainly gave a number at checkout; it did not make it onto the parcel. Look at how this order was booked: an empty phone field, or the number put in the wrong place.
Send the number with a Fix address retry, keeping the same address. Then fix the cause, because every parcel booked the same way will stop here too. Bookings made in ShipOps take the phone number from the order.
What to do now
| Your move | Add the number from your order with a Fix address retry, then check your booking setup so the next parcel carries one. |
|---|---|
| Retry or return | TCS takes a retry or return instruction only while the parcel is in its review window. ShipOps raises the parcel when that window opens and files the instruction from the order. |
| Attempts | TCS tries 3 times before it starts a return. |

How ShipOps reads it
Needs your decision The courier is waiting for your decision. This is the window where an instruction still changes the outcome. ShipOps raises the parcel to the top of the Action Inbox, and where the courier lets ShipOps send a retry or return, the buttons on the row file it with the courier directly.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All TCS statuses →
The same state on other couriers
