TCS “Returned To Sender”: what it means
RS Returned to you Also printed as Shipment Returned To Shipper
TCS RS Returned To Sender means the parcel is back with you. The return is complete, and this booking will not be delivered. It is TCS's final return status.
It comes after Returned To TCS Origin and the return trip's scans. TCS may also print it as Shipment Returned To Shipper, with its usual note about contacting the local office.
Check it in when it arrives: open it, count it, note any damage. The freight and return charges sit on your TCS account and come off a later payout, so a return costs you money even though no COD is paid for it. ShipOps marks the parcel returned and, if you have the switch on, cancels and restocks the order in your store.
What to do now
| Your move | Back with you. Check it in so the order can be cancelled and restocked if you have that on. |

How ShipOps reads it
Returned to you Back with you. The parcel is closed as returned. ShipOps checks the courier's payouts for the return charge, so a return billed twice or a return marked delivered on a receipt is caught.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All TCS statuses →
