TCS “Wrong Mobile Number”: what it means
WM Needs your decision Also printed as Wrong Land Phone Number · Awaiting Correct Number
TCS WM Wrong Mobile Number means the number on the parcel does not reach the customer. TCS waits until you send a correct one. WP Wrong Land Phone Number is the same for a landline, and AN Awaiting Correct Number is TCS saying it is still waiting for that number from you.
Check your booking before you blame the customer. A digit dropped between checkout and the label, a landline in the mobile field, or a number typed into the address line all end up here.
Once you have the right number, send it with a Fix address retry, keeping the same address. ShipOps checks it looks like a Pakistani mobile number (03XX followed by seven digits) before sending, so TCS does not reject it.
What to do now
| Your move | Get the right number, from the order or the customer's WhatsApp, and send it with a Fix address retry. |
|---|---|
| Retry or return | TCS takes a retry or return instruction only while the parcel is in its review window. ShipOps raises the parcel when that window opens and files the instruction from the order. |
| Attempts | TCS tries 3 times before it starts a return. |

How ShipOps reads it
Needs your decision The courier is waiting for your decision. This is the window where an instruction still changes the outcome. ShipOps raises the parcel to the top of the Action Inbox, and where the courier lets ShipOps send a retry or return, the buttons on the row file it with the courier directly.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All TCS statuses →
