InstaWorld “At warehouse”: what it means

In transit

InstaWorld "At warehouse" means the parcel is in one of the warehouses on its route. The status does not say which one. It is the most common status on InstaWorld parcels.

On its own it tells you little, so look at the status before it to know where the parcel is. One thing to watch: InstaWorld sometimes shows At warehouse and Hold For Collection at the same minute. When that happens the parcel is waiting for the customer to collect it, not travelling.

ShipOps shows At warehouse as in transit. When a hold arrives at the same time, ShipOps shows the hold, because that is the one that needs you.

What to do now

Your move At an InstaWorld warehouse. Nothing to do unless it sits there for days.

How ShipOps reads it

In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All InstaWorld statuses →
