InstaWorld “Not Available”: what it means

Attempt failed

InstaWorld "Not Available" means the rider reached the address and the customer was not there to take the parcel. It is a failed delivery with the reason in the status. It is the most common failure on InstaWorld.

It usually comes after Out for delivery or alongside Delivery unsuccessful. InstaWorld retries on its own. Do not confuse it with Shipper Not Available, which is about your pickup.

ShipOps puts the parcel in your inbox with the reason "Consignee not available". Sometimes InstaWorld shows a stray Not Available after a parcel was already delivered. ShipOps keeps those parcels as delivered.

What to do now

Your move The customer was not there. Call them, agree a time, and pass it to your account manager.
The customer Usually the wrong time rather than the wrong customer. A call that agrees a delivery day often saves the parcel.
Retry or return InstaWorld does not take a retry or return instruction from outside its own portal, so the answer goes in by hand; ShipOps still shows the parcel with its reason and links you there.

How ShipOps reads it

Attempt failed A delivery failed, the courier still has it. The parcel goes into the Action Inbox with the courier's reason in plain words. The useful move is to reach the customer before the next attempt; ShipOps puts the call and WhatsApp buttons on the row and counts the attempts made so far.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All InstaWorld statuses →
