InstaWorld “Refused marked By Insta”: what it means

Attempt failed

InstaWorld "Refused marked By Insta" means InstaWorld's call centre phoned your customer after a failed delivery and the customer said they do not want the order. It is a note on the failed visit, not a new visit.

It usually comes after At Destination warehouse or a Shipper Advice, once the parcel is back at the branch. Often the return has already started by the time it appears.

ShipOps does not count it as an extra attempt. It adds the refusal as the reason on the parcel. If the parcel is waiting for your instruction it stays in your inbox; if it is already on its way back, it stays as returning.

What to do now

Your move InstaWorld's call centre confirmed the refusal. Decide retry or return and tell your account manager.
The customer By now the customer has said no twice, once to the rider and once to InstaWorld. A third call rarely changes it.
Retry or return InstaWorld does not take a retry or return instruction from outside its own portal, so the answer goes in by hand; ShipOps still shows the parcel with its reason and links you there.

How ShipOps reads it

Attempt failed A delivery failed, the courier still has it. The parcel goes into the Action Inbox with the courier's reason in plain words. The useful move is to reach the customer before the next attempt; ShipOps puts the call and WhatsApp buttons on the row and counts the attempts made so far.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All InstaWorld statuses →
