InstaWorld “Return - Out for delivery”: what it means
Coming back
InstaWorld "Return - Out for delivery" means the returning parcel is on a rider's route back to you today. The delivery here is to your address, not your customer's.
People misread it as a new delivery attempt because "Out for delivery" is the same wording. The "Return -" in front changes everything: the sale has already failed and the parcel is about to reach you. Next is normally Returned to Shipper.
ShipOps shows it as returning. When it arrives, open it in front of the rider if you can, so a missing or swapped item is raised the same day.

How ShipOps reads it
Coming back On its way back to you. The return is committed, so ShipOps stops suggesting retries and moves the parcel to the returns list. When it lands, checking it in records that you have the goods back, and the return charge is counted against the order.
