M&P “Booked”: what it means

1 Booked

On M&P, 1 Booked means your order has a consignment number and nothing has happened to the parcel yet. No rider has collected it and no M&P hub has scanned it. Every M&P parcel starts here, and a parcel still on your shelf stays here.

The next status is 3 Arrived at OPS Facility, when M&P scans the parcel at its hub. Until then the parcel counts as booked in the M&P portal but not in its "Handed Over To M&P" figure, and it is on none of M&P's reports. ShipOps tracks it from the moment you book.

Booked does not mean M&P has your parcel. If parcels stay Booked for more than a day, check whether they are still with you, and chase M&P for the pickup.

What to do now

Your move Booked, not collected yet. It appears on M&P's reports only after M&P scans it at its hub.
The customer Nothing yet. To the customer the order is placed but not shipped, and a tracking link shows only the booking.

How ShipOps reads it

Booked Booked, not yet collected. A booking that has not been scanned by the courier 48 hours later goes on ShipOps' awaiting-pickup list. It is not a delivery problem yet; it is usually a pickup that was missed or a parcel that never left the store, and the fix is a call to the courier, not the customer.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All M&P statuses →
