PostEx “Arrived at Transit Hub”: what it means

0035 In transit

PostEx 0035 Arrived at Transit Hub means the parcel has been scanned in at a PostEx hub between legs of its journey. PostEx prints the hub's code after the phrase. It tells you where the parcel is, but not which way it is going. That makes it the most misread PostEx status.

On the way to the customer it comes after 0033 Departed to {city} and before 0038 Waiting for Delivery. On a return it shows up again, on the way back to you, and a returning parcel can sit on it for a while.

The common mistake: you see a fresh 0035 after a failed delivery and expect the parcel to reach the customer. If the history already shows 0037 Return to {city}, 0039 Waiting for Return or 0032 En Route to Merchant Warehouse, it will not. It is coming back to you. ShipOps checks for those first and shows the parcel as Coming back. A 0035 with no return before it shows as In transit.

What to do now

Your move Usually moving toward the customer. If a return status came before it, this is the parcel on its way back to you; ShipOps shows it as returning.

How ShipOps reads it

In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All PostEx statuses →
