TCS “Shipment Picked Up”: what it means
PO In transit Also printed as Processed at Origin
TCS Shipment Picked Up means a TCS rider has collected the parcel from you and TCS now has it. TCS also calls this step Processed at Origin. From here on, the parcel is TCS's responsibility.
It is usually the first update you see, because TCS tracking stays empty until this scan. Next come Arrived at TCS Facility and Departed From TCS Facility, often within hours.
It is also when the freight is charged. TCS bills the delivery charge in the week the parcel was booked, whatever happens later, so this parcel appears on this week's invoice as a freight charge before any COD is paid.
What to do now
| Your move | Collected by TCS. Nothing to do; the next update should be an arrival at a TCS facility. |

How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All TCS statuses →
