Trax “Return - In Transit”: what it means

Coming back

Trax "Return - In Transit" means the parcel is on its way back to you, moving between Trax facilities.

It comes after Return - Confirm and before Return - Arrived at Origin. Every return step on Trax starts with "Return - ". That is the only thing separating it from the outgoing In Transit.

ShipOps shows it as returning and keeps the reason from the failed visit, so you can see what caused each return.

How ShipOps reads it

Coming back On its way back to you. The return is committed, so ShipOps stops suggesting retries and moves the parcel to the returns list. When it lands, checking it in records that you have the goods back, and the return charge is counted against the order.

ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All Trax statuses →
