TCS “Arrived at TCS Facility”: what it means
ATF In transit Also printed as Arrived at TCS Sort Facility · INBOUND SCAN
TCS Arrived at TCS Facility means the parcel was scanned into a TCS building: the office near you after pickup, a sorting hub on the way, or the office in your customer's city. The station name on the update, when TCS fills it in, tells you which.
A parcel usually gets two or more of these before Out For Delivery. A returned parcel gets more, because the trip back after Returned To TCS Origin is scanned the same way. Read the updates in order, not one on its own.
An arrival is not a delivery attempt and needs nothing from you. What matters is what comes next. A departure or Out For Delivery is normal. Days of silence after an arrival means the parcel is sitting in TCS's building, and that is a question for TCS.

How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All TCS statuses →
