TCS “Shipment pending at destination”: what it means
In transit
TCS Shipment pending at destination means the parcel has reached the TCS office in your customer's city and is waiting there for a rider. It is a wait inside TCS's own building, not a problem at the customer's door.
It comes after an Arrived at TCS Facility scan in the customer's city and before Out For Delivery. ShipOps shows it as in transit. There is nothing for you to decide, and it does not go in your Needs attention list.
Pending is not on hold. On Hold at TCS Facility means TCS has stopped the parcel; pending is the normal queue before the rider leaves. If it stays pending for days with no Out For Delivery, the delay is TCS's to explain. The customer cannot do anything about it.
What to do now
| Your move | Waiting in TCS's building in the customer's city. If no Out For Delivery follows, ask TCS, not the customer. |

How ShipOps reads it
In transit Moving inside the courier's network. Nothing for you to do, so ShipOps keeps it out of your Action Inbox. It does watch the clock: a parcel still in transit five days on, never attempted, goes on the Stuck list, where the lever is an escalation to the courier.
ShipOps shows every courier's parcels in the same few plain states, so your team learns one set of words instead of one per courier. All TCS statuses →
