How Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) pays your COD, and how to check it
Deshi Express pays your COD to your bank account on the schedule in your agreement with them, and sends a statement for each payment. It does not share payment data with ShipOps, so upload the statement: ShipOps checks every row, matches each line to a parcel, and lists every delivered parcel that is on no statement as owed to you.
When Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) pays
Deshi Express does not publish a payout schedule, so the rhythm is the one in your own agreement: ask your account manager if you are not sure. After you upload a few statements, ShipOps shows you your usual rhythm, so a late payment stands out.
Ask your account manager how long you have to dispute a payment, and upload each statement when it arrives. A missing parcel or a short payment is easiest to raise while the payment is fresh.
What the Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) payout receipt contains
The statement is the sheet you are sent with each payment, usually one row per parcel: tracking number, COD collected, the partner courier's charges, tax and net amount. It comes as a PDF, CSV or Excel file. ShipOps reads it, checks that every row adds up, matches each line to your order, and remembers the layout for next time.
Where the money goes wrong
These are the discrepancies ShipOps finds on Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) receipts, in the order they usually cost the most:
- Delivered, on no statement. Once you have the statements for the period, these are the parcels to ask Deshi Express about.
- Short collected. The COD on a statement row is less than the order's COD.
- Charges different from the quote. The partner courier's charge on the statement does not match what you were quoted at booking. The statement is what you were actually charged.
- A return charged as a delivery. A parcel that came back to you, priced as if it was delivered.
What ShipOps does with a Deshi Express (Bridge Courier) payout
You upload the statementUpload the statement on the Money screen. ShipOps checks every row, matches the lines to your parcels and files it. Uploading is never charged. The Money screen shows what reached your bank, what Deshi Express still owes you, and what is at risk.
ShipOps cannot see a Deshi Express payment until you upload the statement. "Courier owes you" is only as up to date as your last upload.
ShipOps does not raise the dispute for you. It shows you which parcels to raise, with their tracking numbers and delivery dates, so you can send them to your account manager.
